4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

We’re calling this the St. Patrick’s Day edition since many restaurants are starting to offer special menus through the holiday or until the end of the month.

Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen’s special for March is the Paddy Burger. It’s a seared Angus patty with corned beef, gruyere, Guinness-braised onions, a colcannon croquette and thousand island slaw on a brioche bun from Look’s Bakehouse.

CH Patisserie’s version of a Reuben takes one of its croissants and fills it with sous vide corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. It’s available Friday through Sunday until March 19.

Irish fare is a St. Patrick’s Day tradition at Ode to Food and Drinks. One of the choices, a plate of corned beef and cabbage, features 10 ounces of slow-roasted corned beef, cabbage, carrots and red potatoes. It’s available through March 19.

McNally’s Irish Pub offers its special dine-in St. Patrick’s Day menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 17 and March 19. Try the traditional Bangers & Mash: Irish banger sausages served on a bed of Irish champs with Guinness mushroom gravy and a vegetable. The dish also is available on the breakfast menu, which is served from 8 to 11 a.m.
