4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The updated menu at The Treasury includes a few new items. Our pick is the Moules Mariniere. Prince Edward Island mussels are served in a white wine-butter broth with herbs. Use the crusty bread to soak up the last drops of liquid.

Texas Roadhouse is celebrating summer with the Great American Rib Fest. The restaurant’s kitchen crew rubs racks of pork ribs with seasoning and slow-cooks them for three days. They’re grilled to order for a smoky char and caramelized edge and then slathered with barbecue sauce. Get a half- or full slab with two sides. And as part of the event, the restaurant at The Empire Mall campus is collecting entries through July 28 for a chance to win a Blackstone Griddle.

For all the pineapple-on-pizza fans, both locations of WoodGrain Brewing Co. are featuring the Hawaiian this month. The crust is topped with barbecue sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapenos.

Pineapple also found its way into this treat. One of the new summer flavors at Yonutz is Pina Colada. The raised doughnut has a pineapple filling, vanilla frosting, sweetened coconut and a dollop of pineapple.
