4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar’s new Roasted Beet & Pear Salad is “crafted to be as beautiful as it is flavorful.” It combines arugula, roasted red and yellow beets, poached pear, candied walnuts, feta and a lemon herb vinaigrette.

Beets also star in a new sandwich at Look’s Marketplace. Beet and Ciabatta features balsamic marinated beets, burnt orange whipped feta, pickled carrots, pickled onions and arugula on Look’s Bakehouse ciabatta.

Oktoberfest-inspired meals and beers are starting to appear on menus. The Tavern Grill has a Sausage Trio. Smoked Polish, Beer Bratwurst and Elk Jalapeno Cheddar sausages are served with spatzle, sauerkraut and braised cabbage.

CNC Food Factory has new doughnuts with the flavors of fall. Our pick is Pecan Pie. The baked vanilla doughnut is topped with pecans, maple drizzle and caramel drizzle. It’s also available in a  gluten-free version.
