4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

You’ve only got one more week for the Lucy of the month at Crooked Pint Ale House. It’s the Jalapeno Popper Lucy — a jalapeno and cream cheese-stuffed patty with grape jelly, cheddar and bacon. Served with pub fries and only available when you dine in.

We’re hearing great things about the Grille 26 take on a Detroit-style pizza. This one is on the winter feature menu, which will be here for only a few more weeks, so give it a try. It’s mozzarella and brick cheese, topped with salami, pepperoni, basil and house-made marinara.

Chef Lance’s on Phillips has a new menu coming next week, which means visit soon for a few items that will be going away. The smothered beef burrito is fork-tender beef, bell peppers and onions wrapped in a tortilla, baked with green chili and topped with pepper jack cheese and cilantro lime sour cream.

And finally, we bet it’s as delicious as it is pretty. The newest dessert at R Wine Bar & Kitchen: Peppermint Creme Brulee! As they described it: “Like Christmas in a little Mason jar.”
