4 new things to eat

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

We’re loving the presentation on this one!  Going to the Sun Flatbread is back on the 406 Summer Fare menu at MacKenzie River Pizza,  Grill & Pub. It’s topped with garlic olive oil, fontina and asiago cheeses, house-marinated portobello, caramelized onions, huckleberry-infused ricotta, pine nuts and fresh rosemary. Get it on a gluten-free crust for an additional $3.

The menu at Chef Lance’s on Phillips has a few additions for summer. The All Day Breakfast Sandwich features shoulder bacon — more meat, less fat — two fried eggs and American and provolone cheese with garlic mayo on grilled Breadsmith bread.

Hey, it’s not pineapple on pizza! JL Beers has a new offering for summer. The pineapple avocado burger is topped with avocado spread, pineapple, red onion, lettuce, provolone cheese and roasted red pepper.

Taco John’s has a new menu item: fried chicken tacos. They’re part of a new sub-brand called Cluckin John’s, featuring all-white meat chicken tenders with your choice of jalapeno ranch or chipotle lime sauce in a flour tortilla.
