4 new things to eat this week

Let’s start with breakfast. Hardee’s has a new Cherry Biscuit. It’s the legendary Made From Scratch Biscuit with a warm cherry-filled center, drizzled with icing.

If you eat with your eyes first, this dish is completely satisfying. New on the menu at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen is Luke’s Salad. It features arugula, bacon, roasted beets and carrots, dried cherries, goat cheese and toasted walnuts, with a honey balsamic vinaigrette.

Look’s Marketplace is featuring several comfort-food specials this month, and our pick is the classic Hot Beef. Braised chuck roast is served in red wine gravy with mashed potatoes, fried onions and toast.

Who doesn’t love Oreos? Nothing Bundt Cakes is marking the 111th anniversary of the popular cookie with its new featured flavor: Oreo Cookies & Cream. Oreo pieces are baked in the classic white cake. And make a note: Every bakery in the country is giving away one free Oreo Cookies & Cream bundtlet to the first 111 guests starting at 1:11 p.m. March 6.
