4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

With unseasonably warm weather, this featured salad at the east-side Attic Bar & Grill could be a perfect meal. The Harvest Salad has mixed greens, roasted butternut squash, sliced apples, red onion, pumpkin seeds, candied pecans and Gorgonzola cheese, with a honey maple vinaigrette.

Jack Rose Social Club’s featured menu for fall includes the traditional German dish Wienerschnitzel. Two 4-ounce breaded veal cutlets are served with hunter sauce, pan-seared spaetzle and pickled red cabbage.

For more comfort food for fall and winter, T.C.’s Referee Sports Bar & Grill is serving Brisket & Belly Burnt Ends Mac. Cheesy campanelle pasta is topped with beef brisket and pork belly burnt ends and a drizzle of barbecue glaze. It comes with bread and a side salad or cup of soup.

Here’s the pumpkin pick of the week: Stensland Family Farms is using Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream in its featured sundae and shake this month. The sundae has dips of Pumpkin Cheesecake and Cinnamon Stick, topped with cheesecake bites, crushed vanilla cookie crumble, caramel and whipped cream — all in a waffle bowl.
