Great Bear Ski Valley opens for the season this week
Great Bear Ski Valley will open for skiing and snowboarding this week.
Opening day for season pass holders is Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 3 p.m. with 50 percent off runs.
The park will open to the general public at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11.
The hope is to open for tubing on Dec. 19.
Lift tickets and lessons are available to book online at greatbearpark.com. Season passes and gift cards also are available to purchase.
Book online ahead of time and save up to 25 percent on tickets. Tickets aren’t available yet online for tubing. Tickets for Lazer Tubing events, however, are available. They start Jan. 10 and sell out every year.
“It’s been great conditions for snowmaking,” general manager Dan Grider said in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome back our winter friends!”
