4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Featured items for February at Totally Rad Eats at Fernson Downtown include Ricotta Dip. It’s topped with crispy prosciutto, chives and everything bagel seasoning and comes with focaccia crisps for dipping.

Nunzio’s Food Hall reopened recently in its new home at Cherapa Place. It’s starting off with a lunch-only menu, and sandwiches were just added to the pizzas and salads. Our pick is the Sicilian Meatball Parm. Meatballs made of bourbon mash beef, currants and pine nuts in a marinara that’s topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano and served on semolina bread.

After a successful Downtown Burger Battle run out of The Hello Hi, the food truck 605 Island Guy is serving inside the bar this month, starting tonight. Our pick from the menu is Caribbean Shrimp Tacos. Street-style tortillas are filled with tropical-seasoned grilled shrimp, pineapple slaw and mango pico de gallo. Substitute pork if shrimp isn’t your favorite. Dinner hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

A&W’s signature caffeine-free root beer just got a jolt of cold brew energy. Two limited-time drinks feature Revv, which is made by Keurig Green Mountain. Revv’d Up Root Beer  comes with a splash of cream, and Revv’d Up Cream Freeze is blended with vanilla soft serve.
