4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig int o the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

This looks like a good excuse for a road trip to Tea. Zooks Coffee Bar has created a holiday flight of drinks: maple cinnamon toast latte, Grinchy green apple Buzzed, white peppermint hot cocoa and gingerbread chai latte. It’s a good idea to call ahead – reservations for flights are encouraged, especially for weekends.

Watecha Bowl has a new spicy chicken sandwich on the heels of Popeyes’ release of its latest chicken sandwich. The Native American restaurant’s version comes on fry bread, of course, and features a fried chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, pickle, jalapeno, lettuce, tomato mayo and raspberry barbecue bacon jam.

The SandBar & Grill has a new featured menu. The fried catfish basket features cornmeal-battered fish with a choice of side and housemade tartar sauce.

In the category of it’s almost too pretty to eat: CH Patisserie is making chocolate caramel croissants for the holidays. It’s a butter croissant with chocolate glaze and caramel cream.
