4 new things to eat this week

This item from the featured menu for autumn at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails celebrates a garden-season favorite. The BLT Naan Pizza is topped with maple bacon, tomato confit, roasted garlic aioli, smoked gouda and arugula. It likely will be available until Thanksgiving.

A featured burger at Murph’s Burgers & Fries has earned a permanent spot on the menu. The Jalapeno Popper Burger features a beef patty topped with Murph’s housemade bacon, roasted garlic aioli, jalapeno cream cheese, black pepper cheese, lettuce and onion on a toasted brioche bun. Pay a little more and get a burger patty made with South Dakota-raised wagyu.

If you like prime rib, Firehouse Subs has a new Prime Rib Steak Sub. The tender meat comes from a combination of seasoning, brining, searing and sous vide cooking. The toasted sub sandwich includes caramelized onions, melted provolone, lettuce, tomato, deli mustard and garlic mayo. It’s available for a limited time.

Mary’s Mountain Cookies is celebrating Halloween with fun quarter-pound cookies available through Sunday — the bakery is closed on Mondays. The Graveyard with a gummy worm is a spin on Mary’s Dirt & Worms dessert. The Monstrous Monster has candy eyeballs, traditional frosted sugar cookies are in the shape of spooky skulls, and there are M&M cookies with Halloween colors.
