4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The new Spring Salad at Parker’s Bistro is a mix of greens tossed in champagne vinaigrette, finished with sunflower seeds, seasonal berries, red onion and goat cheese. You also can order it at the adjoining Myrtle’s Fur Vault & Bar. 

One block south of Parker’s, the new menu at Trio Jazz Club includes Jazz Fries. Seasoned french fries are topped with smoked sausage, mozzarella, peppadew peppers and a Calabrian aioli drizzle.

On the south side of Sioux Falls, The Tavern Grill has taken a typical BLT to the next level. The Honey Cured Salmon BLT features grilled salmon, bacon, lettuce, tomato and lemon dill aioli on toasted country white bread. It’s available through April.

Polar Bites has reopened for the season in the central part of the city — the downtown location is permanently closed now. We’ve discovered a secret menu item: the Ice Cream Taco. A cinnamon taco shell is filled with soft serve, one candy of your choice and one sauce. They’re available daily, and for Taco Tuesday, they’re just $2. Find Polar Bites in a modified shipping container at 501 E. 41st St.
