4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

A fall favorite at Kaladi’s Bistro has returned. Butternut Squash Ravioli is served in a garlic cream sauce with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach. Add chicken or salmon for an additional charge. It’s available through November.

All Day Cafe features a chef’s special that’s introduced on Friday and available through Thursday the following the week. Here’s what’s coming Friday: Southern Tenderloin and Waffle. It’s a spiced beef tenderloin grilled to your desired doneness, sliced over a Port Salut cheese and grits waffle, and finished with roasted corn and black bean relish, a sunny egg, cracked pepper, hot sauce and bourbon syrup.

One of the new items on the fall menu at Squealer’s Smoke Shack in Tea is the lamb gyro. A warm pita is stuffed with seasoned shaved lamb, lettuce, onion, tomato, feta cheese and housemade tzatziki sauce. It’s served with a choice of side.

Here’s a seasonal apple creation that’s sure to fill you up. Watecha Bowl is serving pumpkin spice fry bread with an apple topping, whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. It’s available through October.
