We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

While everyone is waiting for their heirloom tomatoes to ripen, Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen has crafted the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich. Local fried green tomatoes and local butter lettuce are joined by smoked tomato aioli, pickled garlic scapes and fennel on a brioche bun from Look’s Bakehouse at Look’s Marketplace.

A new sandwich at The Dive features a summer classic between two slices of toasted bread. The Caprese Sandwich has housemade pesto with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and bacon.

There’s still a month or so to try items on the featured Roadside Rodeo menu at Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews. According to the restaurant, one of the customer favorites is Wild West Nachos. Kettle chips are piled with pulled pork, smothered in a sweet and smoky barbecue drizzle and topped with housemade Cowboy Caviar. That’s a mixture of black beans, sweet corn, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and peppers with a splash of lime juice.

Back by customer demand at Poppy’s Popcorn Co.: Lemon Pound Cake Popcorn. Sugar-coated, lemon-flavored popped kernels are finished with a drizzle of white chocolate. It’s expected to be available through August and possibly into September.
