4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

From the category of it looks too beautiful to eat, check out the fish tacos on the featured menu at the new Roundhouse Brew Pub on 69th east of Cliff. Corn tortillas hold mahi-mahi, purple cabbage slaw, apple pineapple salsa, house-made fish taco sauce and spicy microgreens from Cherry Lane Farm in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

If you’re a mac-and-cheese fan, the new Let It Fly at 57th and Western has a featured item to try that’s available through next week. The Spicy Pulled Pork Mac-N-Cheese offers a “good amount of heat with a couple different seasonings.” The cheese sauce is made in house with a blend of cheeses. There’s also a Crispy Buffalo Chicken version.

The new Twisted Pretzel Burger at Fuddruckers looks like a tasty way to welcome cooler weather. It’s a half-pound patty topped with melted cheddar, beer-braised onions, smokehouse bacon and Dijon aioli, served on a lightly salted soft pretzel bun.

And finally, we’re glad our friend Glen is healthy enough to be back to work at The Cookie Jar Eatery and that they have added our favorite chicken pot pie soup to the menu this week and next!
