4 new things to eat this week

Pretend like you’re in Hawaii with this lunch item at Jack Rose Social Club, the former Tavern 180. Loco Moco features a burger patty with garlic mushrooms and onions, a sunny-side-up egg, rice and brown gravy.

Here’s another lunch feature to try on the south side of the city. Invictus Pizza Kitchen has added three piadinas to the menu. The local restaurant’s housemade pizza dough is folded into a sandwich. Our pick is the Greek Piadina with chicken, roma tomato, cucumber, red onion and tzatziki sauce.

Roundhouse Brew Pub put a spin on poutine for its latest featured menu. Pizza Poutine has a mound of fries topped with marinara, melted mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, onion, pepper and black olives.

Poppy’s Popcorn Co. has a new flavor for fall: Pumpkin Spice. It’s a sugar-coated popcorn with a subtle pumpkin spice flavoring and is drizzled with white chocolate and dusted with cinnamon. It’s available bagged in several sizes, and larger amounts can be ordered.
