4 new things to eat this week
We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know whatâs in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.
Pizza Cheeks in The Hello Hi cocktail bar downtown has three new pizzas. We’re fans of the heat on this one. Thatsa Spicy Meatball has spicy red sauce, fresh and dry mozzarella, house meatballs, roasted mushrooms, jalapenos, pecorino, hot honey and basil.
New menu items have arrived at MacKenzie River Pizza, Pub & Grill. Our pick is the Korean BBQ Salmon Bowl. The bowl is filled with baked wild salmon, shredded red cabbage and carrots, red bell peppers and blanched broccoli over jasmine rice with Korean barbecue sauce, scallions and sesame seeds.
Here’s a fresher alternative to the ubiquitous fried chicken sandwich. Blarney Stone Pub’s spring specials menu includes the Bruschetta Chicken Sandwich. It features grilled chicken, melted cheese, garlic aioli, fresh greens, tomatoes and onions on toasted focaccia.
Covert Artisan Ales & Cellars now offers pizzas from Sunny’s Pizzeria that are baked on-site. To celebrate Covert’s third victory in the annual Mash Madness competition for local brewers, Sunny’s crafted a special pizza. Three Peat Three Meat has spicy marinara, mozzarella, pepper jack, chicken, bacon, Italian sausage and a pesto drizzle.
