We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Oktoberfest menus are offering traditional German foods and inspired plays on those dishes for a limited time.

Before eating sauerbraten or sausages at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails, dip Bavarian pretzel bites, rye toast points, apple slices and celery sticks into the Bier & Gouda Fondue.

TapHouse 41 is serving a Paulaner Hefe-Weizen-brined, bone-in pork chop with spaetzle and bacon kraut, roasted tomato, shaved carrot, Gorgonzola cheese, fennel and an apple bourbon chutney. Recommended beer pairings are Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier or Schell’s Oktoberfest.

Because it’s part of the fall Bill of Fare at The Attic Bar & Grill, this offering will be around a little longer than some of the other picks. The Beer Brat Sandwich has charbroiled bratwurst, Muenster cheese, onion kraut and house mustard on a pretzel bun. It comes with your choice of side.

This Irish pub is expanding its menu to include German fare for a few weeks. Along with several entrees like the spiced meatloaf hackbraten, Blarney Stone Pub has created the Apple Cobbler. A filling of roasted Fuji apple, brown sugar and butter is topped with streusel and baked. The cobbler is served with vanilla bean ice cream, caramel and candied pecans.
