June 11: Opening night at Levitt at the Falls
Levitt concerts are back! The lawn opens at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 6:30 p.m. Headliner Ranky Tanky is a Grammy-winning, South Carolina-based quintet, performing timeless music born from the Gullah culture of the southeastern Sea Islands. Featured food trucks are Backyard BBQ, The Leaf Grill & Wokery and The Lunch Box.
June 11-12: Worthington Windsurfing Regatta & Music Festival
How often do we get to tell you about a regatta? This one is just an hour east of Sioux Falls in Worthington, Minnesota, where you’ll find national and international windsurfers on Lake Okabena. The free event strives to promote the windsurfing industry, racing and recreational sailing.

Shop merchandise from talented artisans from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3720 S. River Bluff Road.
June 12: Florida Georgia Line at the Drive-In
Here’s a new way to see a concert. Florida Georgia Line is doing a national concert film at 300 drive-ins, including those in Mitchell and in Luverne, Minnesota. It’s $74 per car for up to six people. Click here to learn more and buy tickets.
June 12: Beach & Patio Mojitos Party
This one sounds perfect given the forecast: Bring your super soakers to Critters Bar in Crooks where a “water fight is expected and encouraged” from noon to 6 p.m. Critters also will be serving pitchers of mojitos and other favorites.
June 12: Light up the night archery shoot
Too hot to go out during the day? Head to Great Bear Recreation Park from 10 to 11:30 p.m for this free fun-filled evening lighting up the night at the target range. All bows and arrows are provided at this event hosted by Scheels.
June 13: Paddling Fair
Head out to Family Park at 300 N. Ellis Road from 1 to 4 p.m. to give paddling a try for free. Kayaks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to those interested in trying out the sport. Boats, paddles, lifejackets and on-water guidance provided by Scheels, Nybergâs Ace, South Dakota Canoe & Kayak Association and Sioux Empire Paddlers. Plus, grab a snack from some food trucks. No registration required.
June 14: Flag Day
Join Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation at 7 p.m. to honor America at Veterans’ Memorial Park, 1021 W. Bailey St.
June 15: Nature Photography Day
It’s National National Nature Photography! Come out and learn the best angles to take beautiful scenic nature photos. Go on a walk with an educated naturalist and experience the beauty that Terrace Park has to offer from 6 to 7 p.m. Please bring your own camera or device. It’s $8, and registration is required.
