Tecmo Siouxper Bowl VIII, a time of retro video games and adult friendship, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the lower level of Blarney Stone Pub at 12th Street and Phillips Avenue. Feb. 26: Photo shoot

Photographer Amber Sorter is hosting a Sisterhood photo shoot at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Terrace Park. The free event is designed to celebrate sisterhood with other women age 18 and older. It is an outdoor event. There will be group photos and individual portraits for those who want them.

Upcoming: Feb. 29

We won’t have another Feb. 29 for four more years, so it might be good to plan ahead on how to make the most of those 24 hours. Here are some suggestions:

  • “This Is My Body,” the world premiere of a play co-written by Grace Ahles, Hanna Beshai and Richard Swanson, 7:30 p.m., Augustana University theater. Also performed at 7:30 March 1-2 and at 2:30 p.m. March 2-3.
  • Open house social for Rare Disease Day, presented by the Coordination of Rare Diseases at Sanford and Rare By Design team members, 6 to 7 p.m. at Falls Overlook Cafe. The Falls and Arc of Dreams will be illuminated in rare disease colors. Enjoy hot chocolate, rare-themed cupcakes from Oh My Cupcakes and coloring activities.
  • The Vaudies: Leap Year Show, 7:30 p.m. at Remedy at 611. Dancers, singers, comedians and magicians will perform. Purchase tickets here.
  • Thai dinner featuring Small Lot Wine at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen, 7 p.m. Small Lot Wine co-owner Joel McLay and representative Erin Mitzel will join the En Place Catering team for this five-course dinner wine pairing.
