For the first time since it opened in 2019, Levitt at the Falls will offer 50 free concerts — including some new genres, while expanding the overall uses of the venue.

“The season is shaping up great,” said Rose Ann Hofland, director of communications and community engagement. “What’s exciting and new this year is we get to 50 for the first time. That’s been the promise since we started the Levitt, and this is the first year we’re getting to the full slate of programming.”

The season will run June 3 to Sept. 10 with free concerts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus five morning shows for families.

“It’s a wide variety of different acts and shows,” Hofland said.

The new genres include “funky blues,” which is “very specific to artists that fit those categories,” and a vintage vibe series, which represents “artists that have a sound that’s a throwback to another era,” she said. “We still prioritize original music at the Levitt, but a lot of the groups might have a feeling like a classic swing band or 1970s feel or something that takes you back.”

This year’s season is presented by Sanford Health and begins with the the nine-piece soul band The Burroughs, who will bring their brand of “sweaty soul music” from Colorado.

Closing night Sept. 10, will feature Lee Rocker — a founding member of the Grammy-nominated rockabilly revival band Stray Cats.

Other season concert highlights include the return of 2019 favorites Brulé and Kory and the Fireflies, a stop on the Levitt National Tour featuring Nashville pop trio The New Respects and the return of international touring acts, including Socks in the Frying Pan, Parranderos Latin Combo and Lemon Bucket Orkestra.
