Levitt at the Falls announces 2025 summer concert season
Fifty free concerts are coming to Levitt at the Falls this season, including some returning favorites.
The 2025 season, presented by MarketBeat, will start on Friday, May 23, and run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night through Aug. 30, with five Saturday morning concerts for families.
The concert lineup features local, regional, national and international acts of every musical style.

“We are so excited for this year’s concert lineup at Levitt at the Falls,” president and CEO Nancy Halverson said in a statement. “We are bringing in hundreds of incredibly talented musicians, including some community favorites from previous years. This summer is chock-full of exciting artists that I can’t wait to share with everyone.”
Opening night May 23 will feature two-time Grammy-nominated artist Divinity Roxx, a genre-spanning artist who frequently plays bass for Beyonce. She’ll be returning for a family show as Divi Roxx Kids at 10:30 a.m. May 24.
Closing out the season Aug. 30 is the nine-piece funk and rock group Empire Strikes Brass.
This year, the Levitt will feature its first double-header performance. Because of popular demand, crowd favorite Brule will take the stage July 11-12 for two shows. Guests are encouraged to come one night only as the show will be repeated.

Each Levitt concert will include opening acts that start at 7 p.m., followed by the headlining band at 7:45 p.m. Each Levitt concert experience is complete with a variety of food vendors and with drinks available through JJ’s Wine & Spirits.
The five Family Series performances on Saturdays will start at 10:30 a.m.
Livestreams on Facebook and YouTube will make Levitt concerts available anywhere.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Levitt at the Falls and help bring another unforgettable summer of free live music to Sioux Falls,” said Matt Paulson, founder and CEO of MarketBeat. “There’s nothing better than seeing the lawn packed with families, friends and neighbors all season long. We can’t wait to kick off another incredible lineup and see the community come out to enjoy it.”
Four festivals will take place throughout the Levitt season:
- Festival of Cultures on June 14 in partnership with LSS of South Dakota, featuring a headlining performance from Hot Peas ‘n Butter in the morning and world music group Espiral7 in the evening.
- That Sounds Decent festival on June 28 featuring an evening of live performances by bands with local ties, including headliner Soulcrate.
- Celebrate the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 26 with blues group Johnny Wheels & The Swamp Donkeys.
- Mitakuye Owas’iƞ, or All My Relatives, Festival on Aug. 23. Sponsored by the SDSU Wokini Initiative, the festival celebrates Native American music, art and culture. Fancy dancers The Sampson Brothers will kick off the festival with a Family Series show at 10:30 a.m., and Sioux Falls’ own Mato Wayuhi will take the stage for an evening concert.
