What’s done
85th Street: Crews have been working to repave 85th Street between Minnesota and Louise avenues over the past couple of weeks.

Paving work is complete, and the street is open to traffic.
‘

Striping will occur within the next few weeks.

The city thanks you for your patience during the street closures!
What’s underway
Tallgrass Avenue: Crews are almost complete with the underground utility work on Tallgrass Avenue between 74th and 85th streets.

Grading work also is underway.

Tallgrass will reopen to traffic later this fall.

Next spring, the intersection of 85th and Tallgrass will close again to allow crews to pave the intersection and Tallgrass between 85th and 89th streets.
Sixth Street: Concrete repairs on Sixth Street between Cleveland and Sycamore avenues should be complete in early October.

After this work is complete, the street will be ground with a diamond tipped grinder to provide a smooth driving surface.

Concrete joint sealing work will follow after that. All work should be complete in early November.

Ebenezer Avenue: Ebenezer Avenue closed between Fifth and Ninth streets Sept. 20 to allow crews to work on underground utilities. This work should be complete in about one week.
