4 new things to eat this week

In honor of Yellowstone National Park turning 150 years old, MacKenzie River Pizza, Pub & Grill has added a new flatbread to its Montana-inspired 406 Summer Fare Menu. The crust of the Yellowstone Flatbread is topped with garlic olive oil, mozzarella, lemon-infused ricotta, smoked trout, red bell peppers, fresh chives and dill.

A true Midwesterner loves tater tot hot dish, and here’s a twist. Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews is offering the Tater Tot Hot Dish Burger, which was on the original menu when the first restaurant in the chain opened 10 years ago in Fargo. It’s a ground beef patty topped with “kicked-up” tater to hot dish, pepper jack and American cheeses. The burger and other original offerings are featured on a “throwback” menu, which will be available through July.

Gateway Bar & Grill is featuring the Mac N’ Cheese Burger for June. It’s a quarter-pound bacon cheeseburger topped with mac-and-cheese on a toasted pretzel bun.

Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating the 110th birthday of the Oreo cookie with two limited-time creations. Our pick is the Oreo Cookie Confetti & Creme because who doesn’t love rainbow sprinkles? Get it in a dish or a waffle cone. Oreo Creme ice cream is topped with crushed Oreo cookies, fudge and sprinkles.
