4 new things to eat this week

Here are our top four new things to eat this week.

If you love ramen, here’s a new bowl to try during March at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails. The star of any ramen is the broth, and the restaurant builds its flavor profile with elk bones, chicken bones and miso. Ramen noodles, char siu pork, snow peas, green onions, sweet potatoes and a soft poached tea egg fill the bowl, and it’s sprinkled with furikake — a sesame seed blend with yuzu rind and seaweed flakes.

Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen added a new brisket sandwich to the menu. House-smoked brisket is topped with aged Cheddar Whiz, griddled red onion and Kool-Aid pickles cradled in a Look’s Marketplace brioche bun.

It happens only once a year: Get a loaf of Irish soda bread at Breadsmith through St. Patrick’s Day. The hearty loaf is made with whole wheat and white flours, rolled oats, raisins and a touch of honey. The bakery’s recommendation: “Dip it in your morning coffee or afternoon tea, serve it with beef stew or toast it for a snack.”

It has been awhile since Stensland Family Farm churned out Tipsy Cow Stout ice cream, but it’s back in the dipping case just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. This year, the toffee ice cream is blended with Remedy Brewing Co.’s Cow Tippah, a sweet stout. It also features homemade toffee pieces.
