4 new things to eat this week

This has to be the best time of year for freshly harvested features. This season brings the Tomato Szn at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen. It’s an heirloom tomato salad with local heirlooms, local cucumber, mozzarella balls, local micro cilantro and local sweet corn vinaigrette.

It’s also definitely sweet corn season, but get this while it lasts: grilled corn in the husk at Steak-Out Sioux Falls.

Here’s a good reason for a trip to Panda Express: the new crispy almond chicken breast, a dish with a serious crunch. Breast meat from chickens raised without antibiotics is coated in a new signature puffed-rice breading and then wok-tossed with almonds, scallions and a savory soy garlic sauce.

We discovered the new Murph’s food truck last week, and we’re big fans! Try the Famous Murph Burger, which is a one-third-pound patty with house sauce, Swiss and American cheeses, lettuce, onion and chef Murphy Lundie’s signature bacon jam.
