4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Look’s Marketplace might be left out of the Downtown Burger Battle because it’s on the south side of town, but the chefs there have created their own mini in-house battle. There are four specialty burgers to try, including this one. The Undertaker is an 8-ounce patty topped with pepperoni-spiced marinara sauce, pepperoncini, fried smoked provolone and a balsamic reduction,  served on a brioche bun.

Watecha Bowl has added several items to the menu for the new year, including the Loaded Sweet Potato. It’s basically an Indian Taco without the fry bread. Take your pick of ground beef or buffalo.

New flavors are on the menu at Chef Ellen. The prepared-meal business has a new entree: Italian Skillet Chicken. It’s seasoned and seared chicken breast with cherry tomatoes and mushrooms in a white wine sauce, served with brown rice.

The new cookie shop Mary’s Mountain Cookies has introduced another offering: Fudge Fantasy. It’s a chocolate cookie with semisweet chocolate chips baked inside. Try it with a twist — the Panda starts with a Fudge Fantasy cookie that’s finished by dipping half of it in white chocolate.
