4 new things to eat this week

Here are our top four new things to eat this week.

Hot beef sandwiches are always popular, and they’re the customer favorite on the new lunch menu at Chef Lance’s on Phillips. Fork-tender roast beef is piled between slices of Breadsmith bread and set on a mound of mashed Yukon potatoes. Everything is smothered in a brown onion gravy.

The new strawberry mango chicken salad at Crooked Pint Ale House is an early kiss of spring. Grilled chicken, strawberries, mangos, almonds, green and red onion and feta sit on a bed of spinach, romaine and arugula. A raspberry vinaigrette pulls it all together.

Just in time for Lent, we spotted a great review for the fish tacos at The Attic West.

Nate wrote: “Their blackened fish tacos are on point! What caught my attention was something they call Slingshot Sauce in the description, so I sent it and glad I did. Three tacos with perfectly seasoned and cooked whitefish (I mean just look at it 👀) on a bed of their version of an Asian slaw and diced Roma tomatoes and raindrops of that Slingshot Sauce garnished with cilantro on a corn tortilla sends you into quiet mode ’til they’re all gone. This is one of those dishes that you just may order another three right away when you finish.”
