4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Maribella Ristorante has a few new menu items, including Capesante di Mare. Pan-seared diver scallops are served with corn polenta and microgreens.

Ranch & Roost at Big Lost Meadery & Brewery has new Southern Belle and Southern Beau sandwiches. Both have pimento cheese spread, applewood-smoked bacon, honey drizzle and a choice of optional toppings like lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onions.  The Belle is a Southern fried or grilled chicken filet, and the Beau is two smashburger beef patties.

If you’re a fan of taco pizza, there’s still time to try the pizza of the month at The Scapegoat. A 12-inch, hand-tossed crust is spread with a refried bean and salsa sauce, and baked with taco meat, red onion and mozzarella. It’s then topped with lettuce, tomato, black olive, cheddar cheese, crushed Doritos and a sour cream drizzle.

Whether it’s the end to a meal or a pop-in for dessert and a drink, the summertime Key Lime Cheesecake at Parker’s Bistro won’t disappoint. It features a graham cracker crust, a mango curd on top of the key lime cheesecake, a dusting of crushed pink peppercorn and a dehydrated lime slice.
