4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Head into downtown’s newest coffee shop to find this Turkey Bacon Melt. It’s at Brioux Falls, which is located inside The Steel District’s office tower at 150 E. 4th Place., right off the skywalk from the parking ramp. The sandwich is made on ciabatta bread with turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and mayo. And on soup days — Wednesday through Friday — make it a combo.

Happy third birthday to our friends at Roots of Brasil in downtown Sioux Falls! This Egg Burger is a great example of how they add so much to our food scene. It’s loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, peas, house-made pickles, batata palha and rosa sauce and topped with a sunny side egg.

Summer flavors are coming out of the kitchen at Look’s Marketplace, including this Vermicelli Noodle Salad. It features a tangy, umami-filled dressing, house-pickled vegetables, cucumber, jalapeño, tomato, and is topped with peanuts, crispy garlic and shallot, with basil and cilantro. 

Summer sweetness has arrived at Flyboy Donuts, too. The new Peaches and Cream donut is available at all locations, including the newest at Empire Place in front of The Empire Mall.
