4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

With cooler weather ahead, soups have returned to the menu at ‘Brosia Bowl. Owner Darcy Green is using ingredients from her garden, so options change frequently. One favorite is her pumpkin chili. It has sweet potatoes, chili beans, kidney beans, pumpkin puree, onion, peppers, tomatoes, garlic, chili seasonings and veggie stock.

Let It Fly has a new menu, and one of the additions is the Southwest Chislic Salad. Chopped romaine is topped with beef chislic, roasted red peppers, black bean corn salad, avocado, tortilla chips and chimichurri ranch dressing.

While cats are the big draw at The Cattitude Cafe — 85 cats have been adopted since it opened in mid-July– it also serves food. One of the new seasonal specials is the turkey sandwich. Sliced turkey, lettuce and dried cranberries are served on white or wheat bread slathered with sage mayo.

This one won’t last long, but it just dropped today. Black licorice ice cream is back at Stensland Family Farms retail stores. Because of the popularity and limited supply of the flavor, customers are limited to two pints. It’s also available in the dipping case.
