4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Roam Kitchen + Bar has new menu items for fall, including a returning favorite: the Bone-In Beef Short Rib. The meat is brushed with balsamic glaze and served over a root vegetable puree with onion jus, glazed green-top carrots and arugula.

Celebrate Oktoberfest for the rest of the week at Granite City Food & Brewery with, of course, food and drink. Spaetzle Mac & Cheese features egg noodles in a creamy cheese sauce with Oktoberfest-brined corned beef. Pair it with the brewery’s signature Oktoberfest Marzen Lager. 

The Breaks Coffee Roasting Co. is always coming up with something creative for its monthly drinks. Peanut Butter Jelly Time is “an ode to the school lunches of our youth: a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but as a latte. We steam some peanut butter with the milk of your choosing, add in some syrup made with our own berry hibiscus tea and top it off with some homemade bread crumbs.”

How many opportunities do you get to eat black ice cream? In the spirit of Halloween, Cold Stone Creamery has turned its original Cake Batter Ice Cream pitch black for the Treat or Treat Creation, which comes in an orange waffle cone.
