Washington Pavilion announces 2 weeklong shows in next Performance Series

Weeklong runs of Disney’s “Aladdin” and “Beetlejuice” are coming to Sioux Falls, marking the first time two weeklong shows have been offered in the same season at the Washington Pavilion.

The Washington Pavilion announced its 2023-24 Pavilion Performance Series Broadway shows today, which include many frequently requested Broadway tours.

It’s the 25th anniversary of the series and “a monumental lineup,” said Kerri DeGraff, chief operating officer.

“It’s going to be a ‘whole new world’ (with) Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ highlighting the series.”

Here’s the full schedule:

  • “Beetlejuice The Musical” with eight performances in September.
  • “Aladdin,” which will come during the holiday season with eight performances in November.
  • “To Kill a Mockingbird,” coming in January 2024 with five performances.
  • “Pretty Woman: The Musical” in February.
  • “Jesus Christ Superstar” before Easter in March.
  • “Mean Girls” will wrap up the season in April.

Additional performances coming during the season will include “The Cher Show,” “Annie” and “Away in the Basement: A Church Basement Ladies’ Christmas.”

Tickets will go on sale today for current subscribers. New subscribers can sign up and being purchasing today as well.

More shows also will continue to be announced.
