Sept. 15: Buffett tribute

Celebrate the life and music of Jimmy Buffett with special guests, sing-a-longs and lots of boat drinks. It’s the last big party of the summer, and you have to be there! The band Too Drunk to Fish will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Bin 201, 201 E. 11th St.

Sept. 16: Fashion show

See the latest styles at a Steve Madden Fashion Show at 3 p.m. Saturday at Simply Perfect, 401 E. Eighth St. RSVP at 605-338-3599. If your schedule frees up and you didn’t RSVP, still plan to attend for treats and fall shopping. There will be giveaways.

Sept. 16: Health Connect Festival

The 2023 Health Connect Festival will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sioux Falls Arena. Sponsors include Health Connect of South Dakota and the Foster Network, among others. It will include more than 80 learning opportunities and entertainment. Lunch is free, as are flu shots.

Sept. 16: Beervanna ’23

Beervanna is back! This Saturday’s event, Beervanna ’23, starts at 1 p.m. and costs $60 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased at Monks Ale House. Each participant will receive a sample glass and unlimited drinks. Granola will play some tunes, and your favorite breweries will sling beer.

Sept. 17: Latino Festival 2023

Sioux Falls will host a celebration of Latino culture Saturday at the Levitt Shell, 504 N. Phillips Ave. A parade will begin at 11 a.m. with the festival from noon to 5 p.m. The city’s inaugural celebration will feature activities, local food vendors and a live concert. Musical acts include Los Dos De Sinaloa, DJ Bobby Flow and Rosendo Robles.

Upcoming: Sept. 30

Join the South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association on Sept. 30 for its 14th annual Hall of Fame Induction Concert at The Alliance, 1600 W. Russell St. Tickets cost $35 with limited nonreserved seating available. You can buy your tickets here. An autograph session open to the public begins at 3 p.m. Doors open for the concert at 5 p.m., with the induction ceremony and performances from 6 to 10 p.m.
