Nov. 8: Trio of performers
Full Circle Book Co-op, 123 W. 10th St., will present three musicians in an all-ages events that will begin at 8 p.m. Friday. Cost is $10. Performing are Colin Bracewell, a Minneapolis-based indie pop artists, plus The Squirez and Brady Wrede.

Nov. 8-10: Aerial arts
Join aerialists of all levels and ages at the second annual South Dakota Aerial Championship, hosted by South Dakota Aerial & Arts. In year two, even more studios are coming together for a weekend of workshops, competition and networking. The event brings both virtual and in-person competitors together in aerial silks, hammock, lyra and specialty aerial apparatuses. For a complete schedule, click here.

Nov. 9: Silent disco
Come to Good NAtured, 921 E. Eighth St., for a silent disco sponsored by Sioux Empire Travel. Dance to music on wireless headphones rather than a speaker system. There will be two music choices. Cost is $20 at the door. Nonalcoholic and alcohol-free beverages and pizza will be available for purchase. Dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Nov. 13: Country dance night
Kick off Wednesday evening with open dancing to DJ music from 6 to 7 p.m. at Icon Event Hall. Dakota Country Dance is hosting a free country dance night that includes line dance lessons at 7 p.m. with Mary Houska. That’s followed by country swing lessons with Andrew Byrd and Kaitlin Paulson from 7:30 to 8:10 p.m. Enjoy open dancing until 10 p.m. All ages are welcome.

Nov. 13: Bunco on the porch
The front porch at Tuthill House in Tuthill Park provides an ideal environment to socialize with old and new friends. And from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, you can enjoy the game of bunco. You can join a waitlist here. Mahjong is up Nov. 20 in the morning. Find times and info for events in December and into January here.

Coming up: Nov. 15
Come out and see Great Bear Recreation Park under the light of a full moon. A hike will happen from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 15. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Participants must be able to hike a mile on uneven terrain and should wear sturdy shoes. Some flashlights will be available. You can register here.
