Nov 16-19: The Lightning Thief
Nov. 16-19: All-abilities Rudolph production
The LifeScape Center for the Arts, Augustana University theater department and Black Hills Playhouse will offer an all-abilities theater production of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.” in the Edith Mortensen Center on the Augustana campus. The cast is an all-abilities troupe comprised of performers supported by LifeScape, Augustana students and members of the Sioux Falls community. The performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday will be interpreted for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. The Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m. will be an autism- and sensory-friendly production. Other performances are 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. To buy tickets, click here.

Nov. 17: Winter Wonderland
What started as a few strands of lights and a lighted reindeer decoration at Falls Park has grown to the equivalent of more than 23 miles of twinkling light strands and other holiday decorations. The city of Sioux Falls will kick off its 20th annual holiday lights display with fireworks at 6 p.m. Friday. Be sure to swing by the Falls Overlook Cafe for a family photo and a holiday treat of hot cocoa or cider. Explore all winter has to offer at siouxfalls.org/winter-wonderland.

Nov. 17-18: A serious comedy
Broad Cast Theatre will present a serious comedy about family, friendships, forgiveness and the healing power that comes from “drinking life to the dregs.” “The Deer and the Antelope Play” will be performed over two nights at The History Club of Sioux Falls, 758 S. Phillips Ave. Shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Click here for tickets.

Nov. 22: Sugar Daddy
Celebrate Thanksgiving Eve with a party hosted by the El Riad Shrine Clowns. A meal will be followed by music from Sugar Daddy, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the El Riad Shrine. To reserve a table or private room, contact Matt “Showt!me” Leedom at 605-366-2857.

Nov. 22: Rocksgiving
