May 21: End of School Glow Bash
Celebrate the end of school at Skate City from 8 to 11 p.m. Admission is $8, there will be glow specials all night, and every skater receives a free glow stick.

May 21-22: Halfway to Halloween
Terror 29 is celebrating Halfway to Halloween with two nights of horror. The attraction is in a warehouse on the northwest corner of the Interstate 29 exit for Renner, and the themes for the scares play off of the industrial setting along with a “healthy dose” of clowns.

On average, it takes about 10 minutes for the tour. Click here to learn more.
May 22: Falls Art Market
The free monthly outdoor art market at 1110 N. Weber Ave. runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Shop original art, artist demos and outdoor workshops. On the fourth Saturdays in the summer, you’ll find a variety of local artists displaying pottery, paintings, woodworking, jewelry, metal, glass, fiber arts and written word. Drop-by art workshops in May for all ages: Create a design for a cast iron tile $35 to $39; bronze paw or people prints $39 to $54. Enjoy free salsa dance lessons at 10 and 11 a.m. – they’ll be freestyle – no partner needed. Watch an aluminum pour at 11:30 a.m.

May 22: Gear & Beer
The fourth annual Gear & Beer runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Great Outdoor Store. Shop for new gear, take in a collaborative beer release with Fernson Brewing Co., and enjoy the kickoff to the summer season. All proceeds from the event benefit Falls Area Single Track, an organization committed to maintaining and growing local trail systems.

May 22: Corgi Con
Whether you’re a dedicated Corgi owner or just a curious spectator, we’re loving the sounds of this second annual event at Paws Pet Resort. It’s $25 per Corgi, and you must pre-register. It goes from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and includes time to romp around, a whipped cream eating contest, pool relay and photos. Prizes will be given during the event, including for best-dressed dog. Click here to learn more.

May 23: Poker Paddle
This sounds like a fun way to get outdoors. Garretson’s Split Rock Park hosts the Poker Paddle beginning at 4 p.m. You’ll find food trucks, live music and lots to do.

May 24: Adult Sand Volleyball League
Here’s a sign of summer: Adult sand volleyball leagues organized by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department start at 6:15 p.m. and run into early August. Games are held at multiple locations, and there’s a season-ending tournament. Click here to learn more.
