Activities will kick off with a children’s Celtic music and dance performer, Maggie in the Meantime, at 10:30 a.m. on the Levitt lawn, followed by six live performances featuring music and dance from East Africa, South Asia, and local Native American groups. The event will close with Salsa Dancing Lessons with Ballroom Dance Academy, a performance by local Reggae band Tuff Roots, a Parade of Flags, and Grammy-winning conjunto band Los Texmaniacs on the Levitt lawn—all beginning at 6:30 p.m. For a map and schedule of events, visit Festival.LssSD.org.
