July 23: Free Family Friday
Visit Laurel Oak Family Aquatic Center and swim for free from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy Wibits, yard games and more. No registration required.

July 23-24: EmBe Summer Closet Sale
Refresh your wardrobe with name-brand clothing, shoes, bags and more all while supporting Dress for Success Sioux Falls. The closet sale will be hosted at a new location at EmBe’s Downtown gym at 300 W. 11th St. It’s 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, and after that the bag sale will be 1 to 4 p.m. When you make a purchase during the closet sale, you have the opportunity to come back for the bag sale, when anything you can fit in the bag is $20. July 24: Family Fest Fun Cruise-Cupcake Carnival
Stop by Oh My Cupcakes at The Bridges at 57th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for old-fashioned carnival games in the upper parking lot, the chance to soak the cupcake shop’s team in a dunk tank and shaved ice from Tropical Sno. There also will be a scavenger hunt, “cupcake walk” and a “golden cupcake” to find for free cupcakes. Click here to learn more and respond to the event.

July 24-25: Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery, the traveling half-scale replica will be in Sioux Falls for two days indoors at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Bring your family to see the replica and honor the fallen. There will be live music and guest speakers both days and food and beverage available to purchase. Click here to learn more.

July 27: Kids Nite in the Park/Kids Art Show
Experience the beauty of McKennan Park while your kids have some fun and display their artistic sides. This event includes old-time carnival games, inflatables and special activities, including an art show available to kids 17 and younger to display and sell their work from 6 to 8 p.m. and entertainment by Storyland Children’s Theatre at 7 p.m. Click here to register for the art show.

July 28: Yoga at the Levitt
This sounds like the ideal way to wind down after work on a Wednesday. Sanford Wellness will host free yoga at the Levitt Shell from 6 to 6:45 p.m. No registration is required.
