Sioux Falls to host screening of HBO documentary ‘Our Towns’

Sioux Falls will be the first city to host a screening of the new HBO documentary “Our Towns.”

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. June 23 at the State Theatre.

Mayor Paul TenHaken will be part of a panel discussion following the screening with filmmakers Steve Ascher and Jeanne Jordan and the authors of “Our Towns,” James and Deborah Fallows.

“Almost every place we went, people said the U.S. is really in horrible shape,” James Fallows says in the film. “But here, things are really moving ahead.”
