Take 5 Oil Change, which opened early this year at 1720 E. 10th St., is donating 15 percent of its proceeds from today through April 30 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.

“We believe in being active in the communities we serve, and we wanted to find a nonprofit for a promotion to help raise money for a good cause,” co-franchisee Max Pfeiffer said. “I believe the Boys & Girls Club is essential to any community where they operate.”

Visitors to Take 5 will find a fast, friendly, affordable experience. The average oil change is done in 11 minutes while you wait in your vehicle.

The Take 5 team will check tire pressure, change air filters and make sure you’re taken care of inside the vehicle too. Customers are greeted with a bottle of water, snacks for the kids and even a treat for the dog who might be along.

“We’re new to the area, so we knew it would take some time to get our name out, but we’re seeing business pick up,” Pfeiffer said.

“We strive to provide excellent service and get the customer back on the road to enjoy their day.”

Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

“We’re excited to be in Sioux Falls,” Pfeiffer said. “There is so much growth going on, and it’s already such a thriving community. We are really excited for our future here.”
