Road Report: Week of Nov. 1

Construction season is here, so we’re giving you a weekly look at what projects are done, where you’ll find traffic impacts and what’s scheduled next.

What’s done

No major projects wrapped up in the past week, but many are in progress.

What’s underway

Concrete repairs began on Marion Road between 39th and 42nd streets this week. Work should be completed by the end of the week.

Concrete repairs at 26th Street and I-29 likely will not be done until the week of Thanksgiving.

12th Street between Marion Road and I-29 will fully open to traffic this week, but lane closures will be needed again in a few weeks to finish up the work.

Madison Street at I-29 is expected to fully open to traffic this week.

Marion Road between 12th and Madison streets is expected to be completed in about two weeks.

Work began last week on the southbound bridge on I-29 just north of 26th Street.

Work is expected to be completed in about two weeks.

Work on 41st Street between Holbrook Avenue and Marion Road is expected to be completed late this week or early the following week.

A large concrete pour took place on Minnesota Avenue between 57th Street and St. Andrews Drive over the weekend.

This project is still on track to be completed in mid-November.

What’s next

Public Works is looking ahead to 2022 road projects — and continuing to prep for snow-removal season.
