EmBe to hold spring closet sale benefiting women’s programming

Refresh your wardrobe for spring while giving to a great cause at the EmBe Spring Closet Sale.

Held March 22-23, this popular event benefits women’s programs at EmBe and is held at the downtown location, 300 W. 11th St.

“You’ll find high-quality, new and gently used clothing, shoes, bags and more, all while championing the invaluable initiatives brought forward through EmBe women’s programs,” said Courtney Hardie, women’s programming coordinator.

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 22 and 9 a.m. to noon March 23, and then a bag sale will follow from 1 to 3 p.m. March 23, when it’s $35 for a large bag you can fill with anything you’d like.

“We’re all likely trying to stretch our clothing budgets a bit further, and this is a great way to do that while knowing that you’re giving back to help women advance professionally, find personal growth and develop positive relationships in our community,” Hardie said.

Here’s a peek at the unbeatable pricing you’ll find:

• Blouses, light jackets, vests or shirst: $8.
• Dresses: $10.
• Pants, skirts, shorts, shoes: $8.
• Belts, camisoles, jewelry, scarves: $3.
• Purses: $10.
• Suits (set): $15.
• Winter coats: $15.

“This event is not just about updating your wardrobe; it celebrates community, sustainability and empowerment,” Hardie said. “EmBe women’s programs play a pivotal role in fostering positive change, and your participation in this sale directly contributes to supporting these programs.”
