Giving Tuesday at LifeScape: A powerful day of impact
This paid piece is sponsored by LifeScape.
At LifeScape, Giving Tuesday has grown into more than just a day of giving — it has become a powerful tradition that brings the community together, raises awareness and inspires others to support their mission of empowering people to live their best lives.
For Anna Trosper, event coordinator at the LifeScape Foundation, this annual event not only has been a chance to raise critical funds but also to deepen understanding of the impactful work being done.

Since joining the Giving Tuesday initiative, Trosper has witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of this day — helping raise over $10,000 in her 2 1/2 years, all of which directly supports the individuals LifeScape serves.
“Giving Tuesday is an important day to me because it promotes the idea of generosity and kindness in any capacity. Whether it is gifting your time, talent or money, you are celebrated,” she said.

The global movement has been celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving every year since 2012, and is dedicated to giving back to communities around the world and supporting charitable causes that make a real difference.
It serves as a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a significant impact.
“Giving Tuesday gives people and organizations outside of LifeScape a great reason to get involved and understand why the work that we do at LifeScape is important and why your generosity makes a difference,” Trosper explained.
The donations received make a direct impact on the lives of children and adults who rely on LifeScape’s services to grow, thrive and achieve their fullest potential.

“LifeScape’s plan this Giving Tuesday will be to inform and educate. We plan to use social media to interact with the community, inform on areas of LifeScape the community requests to learn more about and explain the importance of giving to LifeScape and the impact it makes. All donations will go towards our new Children’s Campus,” Trosper said.
Giving Tuesday isn’t just a one-day event at LifeScape. It’s a vital part of ongoing efforts to fund programs that directly benefit the people they support.
In previous years, funds raised have helped with everything from summer activities to the Holiday Angel Trees — special programs that bring the community together and allow families to give back during the holidays. These programs are possible only because of the generosity of people like you.

“I challenge you on this Giving Tuesday to do some research on LifeScape and local nonprofits,” Trosper said. “You will find that amazing things are happening in our community every day! You can get involved and make a difference today!”
Ready to make an impact this Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3? There are many ways to contribute:
