Downtown’s newest apartment building will welcome residents to the south end of downtown early next year.

The One2 is making solid progress on construction and aims to move in its first residents by Feb. 1.

“It’s easier to get people in to tour now that construction is wrapping up, and people have been excited by what they see here,” property manager Donya Hoscheid said. “We think the building is priced right, people like the finishes, and they’re already going to all the places around here. They’re already in the neighborhood a lot and realize how convenient it would be to live here.”

The location

You’ll find The One2 at 205 E. 12th St. in the heart of downtown’s up-and-coming south end and close to tons of workplaces, shopping, dining and entertainment.

“I think the location is speaking to a lot of people,” Hoscheid said. “Everything is walkable within a block or two: grocery shopping, great coffee shops and restaurants, the State Theatre, the Washington Pavilion and many workplaces.”

Plus, with retail space on the main level, residents at The One2 likely will enjoy future food and beverage options without ever leaving home.

The apartments

The One2 truly has a floor plan for every lifestyle, from studios to one- and two-bedroom lofts.

“Our one-bedroom apartments that include dens have been very popular for a little extra office space, and our studios are so budget-friendly, starting at $915 a month, which includes covered parking. I think we’re opening the door for a broad range of demographics to live downtown,” Hoscheid said.

“You’ll find parking included with all rents, which is something residents have been really liking both for convenience and security.”

Apartment designs are “very light and bright,” she added. “On the top floor, you’ll find some premium finishes with gold hardware on the cabinets and faucets, so it’s very rich-looking with amenities like glass-top stoves.”

The amenities

There are multiple destination spaces within The One2 to spend time, entertain or meet your neighbors.

A top-floor community room offers views “that are just so cool,” Hoscheid said. “They’re just something different.”

You’ll also find a fitness center within the building, a coffee bar in the lobby and an elevated courtyard that includes a firepit, grill and fenced area for dogs.

“The courtyard is amazing,” Hoscheid said. “It’s a nice outdoor space for family and friends.”
