The location

The Current is at 5550 E. Active Gen Place on the south side of the Dawley Farm Village development.

“This property is all about location,” said Lindsey Eisma, operations manager for developer and property manager Lloyd Cos. “We’re so close to all the east-side activities while still being on a residential street, so traffic is minimal.”

The apartments

The Current just opened new one-, two- and three-bedroom flat-style homes.

“These homes have their own exterior entrances and patios or decks,” Eisma said. “We also still have a select few of our townhome styles available in one and two bedrooms.”

There’s one two-bedroom single-family home left to rent “with lots of interest,” she added.

The Current currently is offering a $1,200 move-in credit on flats and townhomes.

The amenities

In addition to shopping, dining and entertainment right out your door, The Current is close to schools and exceptional activities and recreation at the new east-side Active Generations.

Anyone 18 or older can become a member and find affordable access to pickleball, fitness, classes and even dining.
