Loft living above Falls Park is ready and waiting at The District Lofts, which will move in its first residents in July.

The location

The District Lofts is part of The Steel District, a mixed-use development adjacent to Falls Park, the River Greenway and future Jacobson Plaza.

“It’s so exciting now because the model unit is open and finished. People can really see what finishes look like and how the space will feel,” property manager Megan Pederson said.

The second and third floors are opening in July, with fourth and fifth floors opening in August.

“So there’s lots of summer to enjoy the space,” Pederson said.

The apartments

The District Lofts offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments filled with extra touches such as high ceilings, large closets and patios or balconies.

“The neutral palette of the finishes gives everyone the ability to make it their own,” Pederson said.

“We’ve got the Levitt on one side, so you can have a private concert on your deck, and the river on the east side – so you just can’t go wrong.”

The amenities

Residents at The District Lofts have the best of downtown living right out their door – but plenty to do without ever leaving home too.

“We have a great fitness center that is accessible right through the skywalk, and there’s amazing views, so you can check out the Falls while you’re working out,” Pederson said.

A fifth-floor community room is available only to residents as well.

Plus, the building itself includes a coffee shop called Brioux Falls and will add three new full-service restaurants later this year.

Beginning next year, the enhanced River Greenway will include Lloyd Landing, with new plaza space and a dog park, and Jacobson Plaza will include an ice ribbon, huge accessible playground, splash park and dog park.
