A Pacific Northwest vibe has arrived in northwest Sioux Falls, and residents are loving it.

Lux North, one of the newest apartment communities from Lloyd Cos., opens its second building this week – and it’s already full.

“One hundred percent, and we’re already signing new residents up for our next building,” property manager Emilie Harrold said. “People are loving that this is on the north side of town, super close to the tech school and a lot of places to work and filled with amenities.”

The location

Lux North is located at 4500 W. 35th St. N., which is between Marion Road and I-29, and south of Benson Road.

The first residents started moving into their apartments in July, and the next available ones will be ready for moving in Feb. 1, 2022.

“They’re under construction, and we already have several out of 36 spoken for, so if you are interested, we’d definitely love to connect soon,” Harrold said.

The apartments

Lux North offers units with one, two or three bedrooms, including some with dens. You’ll find patios and balconies, large closets and full appliance packages, including dishwashers, microwaves and washer/dryers.

“Our West Coast-inspired design is all about feeling relaxed and down to earth,” Harrold said. “So you’re going to find navy and brown tones, a sort of nautical and modern aesthetic.”

The amenities

There are plenty of places to get to know your neighbors and relax at Lux North. Residents enjoy an outdoor pool, kitchen and fire pit.

The clubhouse is a welcoming one with a fitness center and free weights.

“And our residents are excited to see our dog park and playground coming together,” Harrold said. “We’re just waiting on fence and grass, so by next year, we’ll have all the amenities ready to go as we keep adding more apartment options here.”
