4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The summer feature menu at The Phillips Avenue Diner includes Lemon Blueberry French Toast. Slices of French toast are topped with a dusting of powdered sugar, lemon blueberry compote and whipped cream. They’re served with maple syrup.

Here’s another seasonal special. Both locations of The Attic Bar & Grill are serving Brufeta Dip as part of the Summer Bill of Fare menu. It’s a baked blend of whipped feta and cream cheese topped with bruschetta tomatoes, served with garlic focaccia.

Union Pizza & Smash opened last week at 2111 S. Minnesota Ave. Our pick is the classic Margherita for the chance to experience the basic flavors of the East Coast-style pizzas. The crust is topped with marinara, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and Parmesan. While you’re there, enjoy a game of pinball in The Pinball Room.

In a rare twist, Crumbl is featuring a menu item for more than a week. Dubai-Style Chocolate Strawberry Cups are available through July 11. The cups are filled with layers of smooth milk chocolate, pistachio cream, toasted kataifi pieces and fresh strawberries.
