4 ways to spend holiday break at Great Bear Ski Valley
This piece is sponsored by Great Bear Ski Valley.
Wondering what you’re going to do with your family over the holiday break? Don’t want to spend another winter inside on your phones? Great Bear Ski Valley has you covered with extended holiday hours and online savings. It’s the perfect place to get everyone out of the house and have fun together.

Here are four can’t-miss experiences for you this holiday break.
Go tubing with the family
Tubing is the perfect activity for the family to enjoy together. You don’t have to be a seasoned pro to grab a tube and have a blast. Purchase in advance to save up to 25 percent.

With extended tubing hours available Dec. 20 through Jan. 4, it’s the perfect activity to add to your holiday plans. Sessions sell out, so buy your tickets online to reserve your spot.
Experience New Year’s Eve at Great Bear
With the longest hours of the season and a midnight fireworks show, Great Bear is the perfect place to ring in the New Year.

Bring the family out to enjoy tubing, skiing and snowboarding from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with special rates after 5 p.m. Then, stay late to watch an incredible fireworks display light up the sky from the top of the hill at midnight. No fee just to enjoy the show!
Ski/snowboard all holiday break
Holiday break is the perfect time to burn off kid energy and introduce your family to a new winter hobby. New to the sport? Book a lesson online, and make the most of your time on the snow. Ski lessons start at 4 years old, and snowboard lessons begin at 6 years old. Great Bear even has the gear to rent!

A longtime skier? Get a season pass, and enjoy 8 a.m. early open on Saturdays and buddy passes to bring your friends. Not ready for a season pass? Purchase a five-lift ticket pack for more great savings to share with family or friends.
Go hiking and cross-country skiing
Already tried all our other activities, and still looking for more to do over the break? Head out to our hiking and cross-country skiing trails. It’s a great way to get outdoors, enjoy some fresh air and escape the feeling of being cooped up all winter. There’s no fee to access the nature trails, and Great Bear offers cross-country ski rentals during regular business hours.

Make sure to check out Great Bear’s website before you visit for all the details on promotions, hours and trail statuses. Between tube runs or when you’re finished exploring the trails, don’t forget to swing inside the lodge to warm up and relax with a drink and some good food!
